Contrary to humanistic belief, marriage and family did not originate with man but with God. The Bible tells us: ‘So God created human beings in His own image, male and female He created them. Then God blessed them and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply”’
(Genesis 1:27, 28).
If God created the first marriage He knows best how it should function. This is why He gave us His Word, the ultimate marriage manual and book of instructions. In it we find God’s unerring, practical and up- to-date principles that lead to a successful marriage
and family life.
Today more than ever, as His disciples, we need to uphold the infallible authority of the Word of God in our homes and with it overcome the enemy’s attacks and attempts to destroy that which is most precious to us.
This series have been designed to help Christian families learn to live according to God’s Word, because we know that ultimately the strength of the church is in the strength of its families. May God enrich your home!

Chris and Erica Grace are ordained pastors with the Assemblies of God (ACC). They were missionaries for 20 years serving in Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile. They have 5 children, 3 of whom were born on the mission field.
On the mission field they were mainly involved in Bible School teaching & tent evangelism. Erica developed a teaching ministry for women connected with the Bibles school. She is also the author of “Foundations for the family”- a biblical teaching for families.
The Graces returned to Australia at the end of l995 and Chris served in the AOG Missions office for 7 yrs as Personnel Director and Missions Secretary. Chris and Erica then went into full time pastoral ministry where they served nearly 2 years in Rowville and 6 yrs at the Valley Christian Fellowship in Woori Yallock in the Yarra Valley.
Chris and Erica are now involved as itinerant ministers mainly with ethnic churches in Melbourne. They minister among a variety of churches including African, Asian, Indian, Filipino, Spanish and Italian. The Mission calling is still there and they have a passion for reaching nations.
