Prophetic Declarations and Portals

Prophetic declarations and Portals

There is a lot of talk right now about Blood Moons and other prophetic events that will play out on earth because of these events. The focus is on 2015 & 2016 to be incredible years of God's determinations on the earth. The nation of Israel is very much in focus because the Blood Moons fall on feast days in 2014/15 and is a part of a Tetrad (4 Blood Moons in a row). Then there is the solar eclipse in between the Blood Moons that has great significance about the rest of the world. Added to this are other Jewish concepts that are also falling into place like the Shmetah (the year of release that can bring a blessing or a curse depending on whether the commandments of the Lord are followed). The internet is full of information about all this. What does this all mean for us as a Church in Australind and as a Christian in Australia at this time?

I believe that these are portals for the Church to take advantage off. Portals are special times in God when the heavens open for one reason or another. There are also permanent portals that are open in different geographical places on earth (Gen 28:16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. Gen 28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven ) that connect the earth to heaven through which many things pass through. It is not just a spiritual opening but a physical one, which can be accessed if the eyes of our understanding are opened to such concepts. It may seem farfetched to many Christians who have never heard of things like this and others who may think that they do not need to understand such things. To the seeker of God's truths it is always important to understand the Bible in context to what it teaches to each generation. This generation is being taught much more about these things than any other generation in the history of mankind. However, I am sure some ancients knew these things before us and inspired by the Holy Ghost to write it down for us to understand many years later.

I am writing this teaching for your understanding so that I can encourage you to take advantage of this time to declare prophetically for yourselves what it is you may need from heaven as an answer. You may be seeking salvation of your family's souls, better situations in life for yourselves and others, breakthrough in areas that have not happened until now and for your own spiritual growth. When I needed a breakthrough in 2014, I spoke into my situation before the first Blood Moon of 2014 that was on the 15th of April 2014 and believed that by March 2014 I would have an answer. That is when the offer for this position in AVCF as your leader came through. I choose March as my breakthrough month because once before I did the same and declared March 2010 as my breakthrough month. God came through impossible situations to break the demonic and release financial blessings to me that were blocked in court through greedy relatives. Since then, I have continued using March as my breakthrough month. I believe that by March 2015 there will be another breakthrough for me on many fronts. This is the power of prophetic declaration. Many make declarations because preachers had taught them to do so but did not have a personal conviction behind their declarations and hence did not see the fruit of their declarations. There was nothing wrong with the content of the declaration but there was no personal conviction when declaring. Personal conviction is of the utmost importance Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Rom_14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. We can see from these verses the importance of conviction before declaring and believing the promises of God and the prophetic.

I believe one must personalise their declarations because the individual that declares is the prophetic declarer. The Spirit of prophecy resides in you because of the testimony of Jesus that lives in you. How you use this power is equally important. Jacob prayed a blessing over himself at the gate but put a condition on it and then later fulfilled that condition. Gen 28:18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it. Gen 28:19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first. Gen 28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, Gen 28:21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: Gen 28:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

The condition he placed upon himself was to make God's house and give God a tenth. In a sense, he was the prophetic statement of his own making. Through him, Israel as a nation was established and eventually King Solomon who came out his loins built God's house. As for the tithe, he was following what he had probably learnt from Abraham his grandfather and knew that the blessings were attached to tithes as much as anything else. All this amounts to us learning about prophetic declaration and fulfilling it.

I reiterate, declarations by themselves have no value if they are not believed and professed with true conviction and the vows and commandments that are attached to them fulfilled by the individual. Many Christians think that because they live in the period of grace, they do not have to follow God's commandments. The commandments of grace are far more strenuous and demanding than the law. For example; the law says if you commit adultery, you have sinned. Grace says; if you have lusted after a woman in your heart, you have committed adultery and therefore sinned. Which one do you think is more strenuous?

Prophetic declarations and portals are important because they are there. Some blessings of God can be obtained through them that otherwise are not normally available. We have to come to a place of understanding that causes us to submit to God's ways rather than popular teaching. I find that many Christians are dependent on books, Christian TV programs and the internet to find their way around their faith. All of the above are good but limited. The true source of all information is the Holy Spirit and the word of God. While teaching is available in many ways, application is the key to true learning. Knowledge puffs up a person but faith edifies, provides, and proves a person's faith through works. This is where the true prophetic in God is, by faith and the knowledge of the word.

Begin to declare in your hearts what you believe and it will work toward your salvation. Then speak them out and put into practise by faith what you believe and you will see great results. Each prophetic declaration has physical steps to take along with the declaration of faith. Abraham had to walk the length and breadth of the land he was given to lay claim to it by faith for Israel that was to come out of his loins.. The prostitute Rahab had to tie a red ribbon to escape the slaughter of Jericho. Others had to do acts of faith for faith to have its fulfilment in their lives.

I encourage you to choose to act rather than wait for something to fall out of the sky. Your faith in prayer must also be outworked each step of the way. That is what faith is. It is the outworking of what you believe. I am sure that the next couple of years are going to require great faith in a very tumultuous time. The world will be in great strife, much more than it is in now. It will not be life as usual. Many Christians are deceived into living life as the type of people who are reactive and not pro-active. Being pro-active is being prophetic, based on scripture. The earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God who are true faith believers. Many Christians are being lazy by just believing to get into heaven. They are not actively pursuing their faith and because of it have missed many blessings. In addition to this, they have experienced many unnecessary troubles. Prevention is better than cure. Prevention is being prophetic and wise.

When a Christian walks around with a prophetic understanding of his own existence, he will take steps that lead him to his destiny. These steps will seem random at first but they will have a pattern. Abraham wandered in the wilderness according to prophecy and so did Israel as a nation. It finally led them to the Promised Land and their destiny. There are many such examples in the Bible. One must follow Biblical pattern and teaching to understand that God does not do anything without a plan. Many mysteries surround God's leading in a person's life but there is always a plan, Jeremiah 29.11. I am more convinced than ever before that life is prophetic in nature and the only reason a person never fulfils prophetic destiny is because they do not seek God to know the plan. Dreams, visions, and prophetic words are but a few examples of God's revelation of His plan for an individual but we must receive them as being true and relevant. Nothing is random in life.

It is the cry of my heart that we as AVCF should embrace our prophetic destiny. What that destiny is, will only be revealed as we come together for the vision that God has given us according to Isa 58.11,12. This is critical for our own spiritual growth, to have an impact upon our generation. God is in control but expects us to heed to His plan so that we can fulfil it. If we are disobedient and rebellious, we too will wander in the wilderness as the Jews did for forty years. Many lost their lives in the wilderness and never fulfilled their destiny. Their continued rebellion brought salvation to the Gentiles. What if they had obeyed; they all could have been saved. Jud 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

I am hoping you will find your portal and pray into it. The time has come for each one of us to take hold of what lies ahead by faith and speak into it. Collectively as a Church at AVCF, we need to become more relevant in a prophetic sense and stop our childish expectations of daily living. Jesus said; God will provide for us better than the lilies of the field and the birds of the air. How long will it be before we begin to eat meat? We need to come together and seek God collectively to make us the prophetic people that we are. AVCF is a prophetic church and that is why its doors have remained open for twenty years in spite of trials, tribulations and much wilderness that would have shut most churches. God has a plan and we need to get in on it.

It is my hope that 2015 will see you all achieve more for Christ in AVCF and the country we live in. Reaching out to people may not always be successful but it will certainly bear fruit that we cannot explain. Let us become preparers of the ground, sowers of the seed, waterers of the plants, nurturers of the tender plants, harvesters of the crop and makers of disciples. This is our calling. It will take great love, humility, self-sacrifice, obedience, and submission to God and one another. We also have to stop living in false expectations and projections of men. We have to come into the plan of God through the word which is revealed by the Holy Spirit. The discipline is in fellowship, church attendance, prayer, and the spreading of the gospel in any which way we can. We have to become excited for God and stop being ashamed of Him. When we cannot even speak about Him to people, then we are ashamed of who we are and who our God is.

I encourage you to stand up for your faith. You are a holy generation in a world influenced by evil. It is time to stand up for righteousness and our faith. Christ is the answer, so do not let the world tell you otherwise. Build your confidence in who He is and what He has done. He will never leave you or forsake you.

The end time portal of faith is closing as I have preached. That was a clear word from God to me. In the last days there will be many in the Church who will fall away. So be prepared to pray and prepare yourself for encounters with God. The supernatural awaits us if we are open to it. Let us open our hearts and minds and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us to all truth. We thank God for 2014 as we prophetically prepare our hearts for 2015.

With love
