From the Pastor’s heart Gender Equality
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen 2:22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Gen 2:23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Gen 2:24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
A long standing secret is no longer a secret about gender equality. Gay rights and right to choose has surfaced from the depths of darkness to make a stand against light, unafraid anymore of its dark secret. Today, nations have adopted gay rights allowing humanism to reach new levels. Humanism, which is the love and promotion of human ways above all else was considered to be all the rage till it found gay rights. Then it reached the pinnacles of deprivation. Next to come is the open practice of witchcraft. Dan_8:25And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
What God has separated in the form of man and woman, human beings are trying to put back together in their way. If God wanted same sex people, the imagination has no limits as to what He could have done to achieve that. Yet, in God’s wisdom He made them male and female out of one person. Now, the co-union of the same in sexual intimacy through marriage provides for the unity of one male and one female as two separate beings. Both males and females are vastly different in so many ways that it is impossible to join them as one except in the flesh in sexual intimacy. The next level to this is the union of man and woman in Christ as one spirit. In the new heaven there will be no male or female. When members of the same sex try to be with one another sexually, they end up confused and face untold difficulty in the flesh. God frowns upon this relationship with deep anger and judges such a relationship. Rom 1:28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate (seared) mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
It is impossible for a human being to understand Godly concepts unless it is given to humans to understand. However, when it is given and not followed then it brings God’s wrath and confusion in human beings. This confusion not only affects individuals but entire nations. When this takes place, which has already begun to happen, then we know that the signal for the end of mankind is near. Those who practice same sex relationships do not care about what God thinks or says. Their argument is; they have a right as an individual to choose what they want. This right to choose has never been denied by God. However, when individuals or nations choose against God’s will, then God’s wrath is displayed.
Too often, man has not understood the signals associated with God’s wrath displayed because they have estimated many of the judgements of God on mankind to be something coming in the natural or coincidental. Deterioration of values in society is one major slide in the judgements of God which has nothing to stop it anymore because God has given them over to it. Hence, decay in society has left society devastated by the breaking down of sexual boundaries. The sanctity of marriage and the holiness of having children in wedlock has been completely destroyed. Sexual partners can range from one to many outside of marriage and even same sex partners. Adultery is as common as the common cold. Paedophilia is now so common that it will soon be acceptable publicly even though it is going on privately in every form one can imagine. Under age sex is not even a consideration as it has penetrated western society like a plague. Homosexuality and lesbianism is as gay as the gay bird that sings its song of victory from the rooftops. Apostle Paul puts it this way. Eph 5:12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. Yet, it is no longer a secret. Nowadays it is an open secret.
Will man survive the onslaught of darkness and the perpetrations of the devil? It would seem that even the Church is under siege as it capitulates to popular demand to be like the world and allow same sex relationships. Under the guise of love and all manners of excuses, the Church in many instances has allowed it to surface within its four walls. Hidden things are now being made manifest. The truth is, the Light of the Lord Jesus is making all this visible so that the true believers will know what is hidden. Eph 5:13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. The admonition of the Lord is that we should be in the light even as He is in the light. 1Jn 1:6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 1Jn 1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
The moment we attempt to walk in the light, we will be exposed for who we really are. That in itself is not bad unless you have hidden sin. The admonition of the Lord is; Eph 5:14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Eph 5:15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Eph 5:16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Eph 5:17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Redeeming the time is critical. The time mentioned here is where we are in any given generation. The time also means our day cycle. Unless we are busy with the Lord we will be busy with the world and its ways. We will swing to and fro with every wind of doctrine and ways of man. The pressure is very great on our society to capitulate to the ways of darkness. This pressure therefore falsely endorses humanism as the only solution to what evil brings in the way of decay in society. Wars are all there because one society of people want to rule another and possibly the world to have its own ways established. Each one thinks that they can bring a better way or force their way as the best way for all mankind. To say that it is a mess is an understatement.
The only hope we have is to trust God that what He has prophesied will come to pass. This means two things. There will be a separation of the goats from the sheep and a taking away of the prepared before it becomes too bad. Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Rom 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. Many do not believe that the world will end because they expect it to go on as it is and so they keep building their kingdoms on earth. Yet, every kingdom and ruler who has come as a Leader to govern has been prophesied by God that they would come and be destroyed. The whole outline and timeline of God’s plan is being outworked within the context of our existence on earth as the human race. Those of us who believe in God through Jesus have had our eyes opened and know what the devil has done. So, let it not be a surprise to you that this is happening right now even as much is it is disgusting and sad. Mankind is blinded about this outcome prophesied by God because the devil has shrouded this in a veil over their eyes. I am afraid the violence will increase on this earth in such a way that mankind will not be able to sustain their sanity. The spirits of lunacy are already at work through drugs and many other ways reducing man to an animal like being. This is being reflected in violence everywhere we can see. Terrorism is nothing compared to what is actually going on in the streets of cities and in homes hidden from prying eyes. The law and society are unable to cope; so, more and more rules and laws are being made.
I reiterate that in the midst of such a bleak picture that Jesus who is God’s answer to our lives is working His miracles, signs and wonders. Many millions are coming to know God and choose a better way as prescribed by God in the word. I am greatly encouraged as I see God moving through so many in the last days to bring about change in lives which reflect His values. Though that will not be established till Jesus comes back and sets up His millennium rule, we have a hope as we follow His way with like minded people. The saving of souls is important but keeping them is equally important. It is in this keeping of the soul that we find our greatest challenge as we are rained upon by the pressures of this world. Yet, my encouragement to you is, do not despair. God will see you through.
As the curtains are being drawn on this age of man, let us spare a thought for all those who are in need. The resources to help are available to all of us as we give of ourselves in time, money and effort to establish righteousness. In the end, righteousness is the key to the Kingdom. When righteousness will prevail, then the nations of this world will be blessed to exist as a unified people in God. For righteousness to prevail, each one of us have to walk in it to bring it about in the midst of a dark and evil generation. Standing for righteousness is the battle, especially when you have to face overwhelming forces of this world that want to destroy it. Yet, He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. So, stay strong and stand for righteousness and God will make a way where there seems to be no way. There is still much to come before the end of the age. I believe, a wave of God’s power is being unleashed even now to bring many back to Him through the Church. The Church as an end time vessel will rise up and take its place and do what it was called for but it will still have to pay a price. That it is doing already but the cost is going to increase as much as the reward is going to increase. Where sin abounds, grace does abound even more. That is our hope.
